Francisco Cordoba Otalora

The world’s first Marie Curie Research Fellow in Asset Tokenization. 

His journey began in 2014 when he authored the first Spanish-language book on Bitcoin’s potential to revolutionize finance. By 2017, Francisco had launched one of the first Ethereum-based remittances apps, earning him MIT’s Innovator Under 35 recognition. His visionary work in blockchain applications led to the founding of groundbreaking startups like Zote, Latinverse, and NaaS, attracting investments from BlockDojo, The Founder Institute, and Startup Bootcamp.

Francisco’s insights have made him a coveted speaker at NFTNYC, World Economic Forum, and Singularity University. He’s also a main speaker for tech giants like Lenovo and ESRI. His expertise in tokenization earned him selection as a Metapurse Fellow by Metakovan, owner of the world’s most expensive NFT.

With a Master’s degree from University College London and as a PhD candidate at The University of Nicosia, Cyprus, Francisco combines academic rigor with practical experience. His global recognition includes being named a Leader of Tomorrow by St. Gallen University in Switzerland, a Fellow of the Westerwelle Foundation in Germany, ITEC fellow in India, Erasmus Mundus in EU and an Edmund Hillary Fellow in New Zealand, alongside innovators like Naval Ravikant and Tim Ferriss.
